"These tools are truly unique. I developed them, and for years now they have been helping ordinary people become investors, get more free time, and simplify their lives.

"They add certainty and discipline to the investing of many people."

Tools to help you make money do the work

I have developed a set of fundamental tools that I give to all my clients. They add certainty and discipline to their investing.

You are invited to my next seminar to see a demonstration of these tools.

These tools work. They are fundamentally sound, rather than clever and sophisticated. And everyone who joins one of my programmes receives the complete set of these tools to use and keep.

Take control of your environment

A tool within The Money MATRIX Programme is The Time Zones. This tool will help you take control of your environment.

The four Time Zones are:

  1. FREE Time
  2. Future SHIFT Time
  3. MONEY Time
  4. MESS Time

Why not use them to take one big step forward right now?

Right now, make a list of all the things you do. Then allocate each into one of the four zones.

Now schedule your week so each 24 hour period is just one of the zones. Don't contaminate any one zone with an activity from another zone.

The Time Zones help to increase your focus, which results in greater levels of output and ultimately better decisions with money. At the same time, more free time is enjoyed along the way.

Transform your current barriers and obstacles into solutions

As a Financial Coach I help individuals to identify the barriers and obstacles that they create for themselves. Also I provide the tools and support to help break through those barriers and overcome the obstacles. I train my clients to systematically transform obstacles and barriers into solutions.

Another tool in The Money MATRIX Programme, is the Solution Creator which is an effective problem solving tool. This tool gets lots of use as my clients transform their barriers and obstacles to further financial progress, into solutions.

Here is a simple example of how this tool works:

the project > the barrier > the solution > the next step and the next ...

Although this may seem quite straight forward and simple (and it is) many people are unable to grasp this concept without insights from the coach. What about you? Do you get it?

The greatest progress you will ever make is to systematically transform barriers and obstacles into solutions.

The Business Accumulator

Most people speculate on share markets and the share price. My approach is to find good businesses that perform well and pay as little as possible for partial or total ownership of them.

The most difficult part of this process is properly valuing a business. Because price is what pay and value is what you get — and they are not always the same.

I use a valuation tool that makes this a simple and easy process. You can get more information on this tool by visiting Stockval.

This tool also gives me the numbers that matter the most. (Because they cannot be found in the newspaper or other mainstream media.)

The basis of The Business Accumulator is:

  1. Compare price to value
This clearly and easily shows how much we are paying and what we are getting because we don't want to pay too much.
  2. Look for earnings growth
Businesses that show increasing profit each year demonstrate a level of potential value that an investor can take advantage of.
  3. Look for profitability — not profit
Business performance should not be measured by movement in the share price. It should be measured by how well the business managers use capital and this is indicated by the return on shareholders' funds.
  4. Check the dividend/payout ratio
What you would want to do here is invest in those businesses that keep at least half of their earnings for reinvestment back in the business. It's quite simple really, if a business is worth $1, makes .20c profit, pays out that .20c to the shareholders, how much is the business worth at the beginning of next year? The answer, of course, is still just $1. Therefore our business has made no real progress.

One of the secrets of investment success is to be disciplined. My job as the coach is to teach the method so the client can convert the method into their own discipline.

Of course, I can act as advisor along the way as well. So my clients can develop their skills at their own pace.

And so ...

The above is a sample of the types of tools that are available in the Money MATRIX programme. I encourage my clients to think of these tools as a form of leverage. Just as you use a hammer to drive a nail rather than your own hand, these thinking tools can help you to tap your money ability. Come to my next seminar near you, and I'll show you how you can use these tools.
